Every Giraa bracelet closes with a sliding knot: no buckles, no clasps. Here is how to measure your wrist, how to check the fit, and how to be sure before you order.
How to measure your wrist

Wrap
Wrap a measuring tape, a strip of paper or a piece of string around your wrist, just below the wrist bone, where a bracelet sits. Flat on the skin: not tight, not loose.

Mark and read
Mark the point where it meets itself. Lay the paper or string flat against a ruler and read the length, in cm or inches.

Keep the number
That number is your wrist size. Note it down. It is all we need to tell you how a bracelet will sit on you.
How to check the fit
The sliding knot lets you set the bracelet as close or as easy as you like. Both of these are a good fit; it is your choice.
Snug
The band lies flat on the skin and stays in place when you move your hand. It should never press or leave a mark.
Relaxed
One fingertip fits under the band and it moves a little on the wrist. Good next to a watch, or in hot weather.
Setting the sliding knot
Put the bracelet on, then set it. The knot holds where you leave it, and you can slide it again whenever you like.

Good to know
Do macrame bracelets size differently?
No. Macrame bracelets use the same sliding knot as our paracord pieces. The cord is thinner and softer, so they sit slimmer on the wrist.
What if my wrist is very slim or very broad?
Send us your wrist measurement on WhatsApp before you order and we will tell you honestly how the piece will fit.
Can I wear it with a watch?
Yes. Wear the bracelet slightly looser so the two move naturally on the wrist.
Does the knot hold once I set it?
Yes. The sliding knot holds in place, and you can slide it again whenever you like.
